We started the bachelors party for james harris at kings creek golf course; the sun was beating us dry... 100+ degrees, so james, rick and scottie decided to influence me, keever, and jason with a couple of icy cold drafts courtesy of the beverage cart on hole #10; well by #13 we were starting to cool off. At that point in the match we were down by 2 strokes and I told keever that we needed an ace to get back in the game. Keever put one safely just off the fringe, jason launched one to the right of the creek. I stepped up and thought back the the lesson I had the day before with the pro carrol clark when he said posture, grip and alignment. I squared up to the right of the pin hoping to hit a little draw.... Well I hit it on the toe just a bit and the ball took off on a good line.... I said, oohh, its going in the creek. Just that tiime it landed on the front right of the green with draw spin and worked towards the cup... Then, it disappeared!! The 6 iron I hit went airborne as I threw it in the air out of excitement! The whole group went nuts. Ah, the things that happen on a bachelors party.
