Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.
The wind was in our face and I hit the ball very high and was so releived when it landed near the hole and not short of the green and in the water. I saw it disappear, but it didn't register with me that it had gone in the hole. My playing partners looked at each other and said, 'that ball when in the hole' - then I finally realized that it was a hole-in-one. At that point I started celebrating. Funny though, it really didn't truely hit me until I was at the grocery store later that night.!!!!
