7 Iron

I hit a 7 iron, with a slight draw, about 25 feet right of the pin. I asked it to turn, but I assumed I'd have a 20 foot birdie putt. The shot had alot of spin & the green slopes gently right to left. I turned to talk to a playing partner when the other member of our threesome yelled "it went in! " I thought he was messing with my head, when someone on the 14th tee yelled, "someone got a hole-in-one! " I just put my head down & laughed. Several holes ealier I hit a drive and a seemingly perfect 6 iron into our par 5, 6th hole. I was thinking tap in eagle. Somehow the ball spun off the green. The irony being, I'd hit far better shots that day and was finally rewarded.
