My very first hole in one, playing with basically strangers as playing in an amateur comp organised by bill golf holidays. Had been hitting 5 iron at the other 170 yard par 3s, but on this hole decided to hit 6 as pin was nearer the front. Course was wet and soft. Hit a high shot, 2 bounces and rolled about 6 inches into the hole. Jim and mal went daft, while angela quite calmly said well done. Bogied the last. . . Could hardly hold my clubs!
