Browse By DateOdds Of A Hole-In-One?
The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

It was a par 3 with an elevated green. I had hit a good straight shot to the pin but thought I might have bounced off the green. When my golf buddies, jim whittaker and greg demske and I approached the green greg said he didn't see my ball. Luckily on the adjacent 12 hole tee box a member of the foursome said 'I think it went in the cup'. So there we were slowly walking to the cup and there in the cup was my ball. All of us yelled loudly with great emotion. I couldn't believe it! Most likely it will never happen to me again but I was so happy to share it with the guys I go golfing with every weekend.
