Browse By DateOdds Of A Hole-In-One?
The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

I was playing poorly all day, striking the ball well at times but inconsistent. I needed the hole in one to make up for a 9 I had on the front. :) I was just trying to put an easy smooth swing on the ball. We heard it hit the flag and cup and saw no bounce or roll. It turns out it went in on the fly leaving a divot on the edge of the cup. That shot more than salvaged a disappointing round!
