First time and it was sweet. Nicely struck shot from an elevated tee, over a small brook to a small green. The shot landed about 15 feet short of the hole, released and rolled towards the pin, curling into the cup. My brother and two other golfers where there and it was a jubilant celebration. After things calmed down, my brother hit an almost identical shot but about a foot left of mine, and the ball rolled to about two feet behind the hole! Afterwards, in the clubhouse, I purchased the obligatory rounds for the patrons. One of them mentioned he was about five holes away, heard the shout and told his foursome, "there'll be free beer in the clubhouse today! " all in all, a wonderful experience!
