Browse By DateOdds Of A Hole-In-One?
The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

I was going to use an 8 iron, but there was a hurting wind so I used a 7 iron. There is a hill right in front of the green so all I could see is the top of the pin and the flag. I saw the ball hit the green to the right of the pin and bounce left toward the pin. I knew it was going to be close. When I got to the green I didn't see the ball and I knew immediately it was in the hole since I knew I didn't hit it long and it wasn't on the green or near the green. It was my 2nd ace, 14 years after my first.
