My wife and I had gone to the oakwood for a couple of days, to get away from work and the kids. Playing the course the first day, I over hit the ball with my p wedge on the 9th, and it rolled off the green and down the hill on the other side. The next day, we only played the front nine. On the 9th tee, remembering the day before, I took a lighter swing, again with my p wedge. I voiced my excitement when it landed within inches of the pin, and then........ The ball disappeared into the hole. I through my hands into the air, cheering! My wife looked around for other people and then said to me,"to bad no one else was around to see it, but me! " that was ok because, if she hadn't been with me to witness it, she probably wouldn't have believed me telling her that I had shot a hole-in-one.
