Browse By DateOdds Of A Hole-In-One?
The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

I drove the ball off the tee with 2 men on the green putting, not thinking I would green the hole, let alone get my first ever hole in one! I was shocked as I approached the green, given the 2 gentlemen were waving at me, little did I know the ball was in the cup. It just so happened one of the gentlemen worked at the course and saw it go in the hole first hand. It is my first ever hole in one, and who knows, maybe my last. Given my father was playing with me (along with another gentleman), it is a true life fulfilling achievement. The fact the man who taught me everything I know about the game of golf was there to witness this feat, was truly an inspirational moment.
