I haven't played a round in a little over a year. Just had too much going on. My mom and her fiance called me this morning to see if I wanted to play. The first two holes were 7&8! Going on to the 3rd tee box I am sitting 15. Sheesh, shoulda stayed home and cut the grass. I picked up a broken tee and placed my ball on it. 159 yards into the wind. Took out my 5 iron (I always hit my irons short)and took a nice slow stroke. The ball picked up immediately for the flag. The shot felt good. Couldn't even tell I had hit it. I could tell it was heading straight for the pin but thought it was going to be short. It hits right behind the pin and then backs up! It just disappeared! We all just looked at each other and then they went nuts! I really thought it was sitting on the lip until we walked over to the cart. The green was empty!
