The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

I've been playing golf since before I can remember thanks to my dad. He has been playing golf for over half a century and he hit his first hole in one yesterday on #11 at poppy hills from 141 yards using a titleist ap2 8 iron and a personalized prov1x! The shot was a high flying fade that landed about 10 feet short of the hole, bounced twice and softly dropped as it scooted left to right across the green! My mother (who almost never accompanies us on the course) just so happened to also witness the shot. It's definitely the coolest moment I've ever had on a golf course! The marshal was nice enough to give my dad a poppy hills pin flag and now my dad needs a new ap2 8 iron since the hole-in-one club will be going in a nice window box along with the prov1x, his golf glove, the pin flag and the scorecard!
