Sai Prasad Kaza

It was the navy golf championship at bepta on 09 dec 2007 and our four ball was the first to tee off from tee no. 10. It was chilly and little dark when I was the first to tee off. On this course one cannot see the green from the tee off point. I used a 5 hybrid to tee off and the caddies were standing on a mound to watch the ball. As soon as I teed off, the caddie shouted on the green having seen the ball land on the green in very little light and after that two more players of my four ball also landed on the green and one player went into the rough. When we reached the green, we could see only two balls and realised that both those were of my fellow players. Then suddenly one player realised that my ball was in the hole and accounced it. I was jubiliant and didnt have words to express my joy of this once in a lifetime achievement. To have started the tournament with a hole-in-one was very special and that moment would be cherished all my life.
