Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.
The shot was sell struck and appeared to come down right on the flag. However, due to the angle of the sun, our group did not see the ball go into the hole. When we got to the green, there was no ball close to the hole so we looked in the hole and there was my ball. Totally unexpected and I'm totally thrilled as this was my first hole in one after 50 years of playing golf.
