Distance was a perfect sand wedge for me. It was the last hole of a shotgun start, starting to get dark. I had been hitting my wedges close all day, so this shot to a narrow green surrounded front and sides by deep bunker was right on.. Hop, check, roll into the hole. My playing partners freaked, as did I and our forecaddie.
