June 30, 2026, will forever be remembered as the day Bob accomplished every golfer's dream. It was the hottest day of the year with the temperature at a sweltering 86 degrees, and an oppressive dew point at 77. Despite the heat and humidity, Bob and his brother Peter made there way to Westhaven Golf Club, determined to enjoy a full 18 holes together. When we approached the picturesque 11th hole Par 3 measuring 129 yards. Bob selected his trusted Cobra 31-degree wood, settled over his Pinnacle ball using his new routine, and made one of the purest swings of the day. The crisp strike sent the ball soaring. It landed softly on the green and immediately began rolling directly toward the flagstick. Peter said, "I can't see the ball. I think it's in the hole!" Bob could hardly believe what he had heard. Shaking his head, Bob replied, "It must have rolled off the back of the green." Then came the moment every golfer hopes to experience at least once in a lifetime. Bob leaned over and looked into the cup. A broad smile spread across his face and said, "It's in the hole!" It was Bob’s first hole-in-one!
