Browse By DateOdds Of A Hole-In-One?
The odds of an average golfer hitting a hole-in-one are estimated to be around 12,500 to 1.
Even professional golfers only have about a 2,500 to 1 chance. This makes it a truly special and memorable accomplishment.

The hole was not visible from the tee box as it was submerged by a small hill in front of the green. Three tee shots out of the four ball were very good shots and they all seemed to be close to the flag from the tee box. When we got closer to the green the person in front announced that there were only two balls on the green. There was suddenly a lot of expectation from all three as we knew one ball had to be in the hole. What a pleasant surprise when I bent down to the hole and announced, to the others dismay, it's mine!!!
