I flew out to atlanta to spend the weekend with one of my best friends david quiroga. On the rare occasions we can get together we love to spend our past time golfing. It was father's day and the atlanta heat was scorching, I was also battling the flu. The first 9 was pretty rough for me; nevertheless, I began to pull it together on the back. I was about 5 feet from a hole in 1 on the 14th hole which is a 226yd par 4. Unfortunately missing the eagle putt, but nailing the birdie. I parred the 15th hole and we moved onto the 16th unbeknownst to what lie ahead. David and I were neck and neck and the final holes were to decide a winner. I teed up on the 16th and gave it a nice fluid swing, the trajectory was toward the pin and our anticipation began to grow. The ball landed a few feet from the pin and with just enough back-spin she found her way into the hole. David and I erupted in screams of laughter and amazement. It was an incredible feeling and one that I will never forget.
