We have a holiday house in the golf estate which is 6 hours away from where we live. Most of the time we play on local courses, but it was our home club annual championships so we made a special effort to go down to play.. I played the 1st 4 holes so badly that I was close to tears. At the next hole, brenda used a 7 wood and overshot. Nalin used? A 5 and was short. Brenda said I should hit between the two. I commented and said, why, I would rather go straight into the hole. I had an 8 but changed it for a 7. When I hit the shot, I felt I was flying with the ball. It landed a few feet from the hole and I thought.. Goodie a birdie. The 2 ladies started screaming and said look.. And to my amazement, in slow mothion it rolled the last few inches into the hole. The picked me up and ho boy, what a noize.
